CNG stations’ owners involved in gas theft: Khuwaja Asif

SILAKOT: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khuwaja Asif has said that all the CNG stations’ owners in the country were involved in gas theft.

“All the owners of CNG stations are gas thieves, we will take action against them,” Khuwaja said and added in the same breath that he was sorry if his comments hurt anybody.

He said that 500 MMFC gas was being used by CNG owners which could decrease loadshedding by four hours.

He said that 2000 megawatt electricity could be produced with 500 MMFC gas.

speaking at a ceremony on late Saturday night, the minister said he got the impression of Javed Hashmi's speech that he wanted to re-join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
