LAHORE: Pakistan offspinner Saeed Ajmal wants to replicate his match-winning performance against England last year when he bowls against South Africa in a two-test series this month.
Ajmal took 24 wickets in three tests against England as Pakistan whitewashed the then-No. 1 ranked team.
Ajmal says he is focusing on his doosra _ a delivery of an offspinner that turns away from right-handed batsman _ to outfox the Proteas in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
South Africa routed Pakistan 3-0 this year and Ajmal finished with just 11 wickets _ 10 of those in the second test at Cape Town.
But the offspinner says he takes 70 percent of his wickets with his doosra, and he knows well ``wickets do take turn in Dubai.'' (AP)
