Pakistan rules out release of Dr Shakil Afridi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has refused to release Dr Shakil Afridi at the request of the United States, Geo News reported Thursday.

The foreign office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam, in a weekly briefing here today, said: “Dr Afridi’s case is in the court and it will decide his fate.”

Pakistan and the United States will hold strategic dialogue in Washington on 27th and 28th of this month, she added.
