Pakistani Taliban condemn Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has condemned the blast at the Peshawar’s Qissa Khawani Bazaar that killed at least eight people.

TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid while speaking to media from an undisclosed location said that the blast was aimed at sabotaging proposed peace talks between the government and the militant organization.

He said that the Taliban had nothing to do with the Peshawar blast.
