Alleged Shiv Sena protesters disrupt Pakistani play in Gurgaon

GURGAON: A group of men claiming to be members of the Shiv Sena on Saturday vandalised a Pakistani flag and briefly disrupted a play being performed in Gurgaon by Pakistani artistes, reported Indian media.

According to Indian media, the men stormed the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) open air theatre where the play was being staged, threw the Pakistani flag on the ground and shouted anti Pakistan slogans.

Officials of MCG said the situation was brought under control by members of the audience and a few policemen who arrived at the scene.

The Pakistani artistes completed their performance following the brief disturbance.
