KARACHI: A college principal was severely injured when unknown gunmen opened fire on his car on National Highway in Karachi on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to initial reports, two gunmen riding motorcycle ambushed the car carrying Riaz Bilor who is the principal of Benazir Bhutto College at National Highway near Manzil Pump bus stop. He received three bullets and was critically injured.

He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
