55 students released on personal surety

FAISALABAD: Fifty-five students who were arrested red-handed while cheating during matriculation examinations were released against personal surety, Geo News reported Saturday.

SHO of Sahianwala police station released the students on his personal surety.

According to information, superintendents of two examination centres in Chak No 49 informed the police that 33 students have been caught cheating.

The police held 27 while six managed to escape from the spot.

Cases were registered against them in Nishatabad police station however the SHO of Sahianwala police station released the students later.
