Rs 4.6 million looted in bank heist

KARACHI: A gang of five bandits looted Rs4.6 million from a local bank in Nazimabad on Friday, police said.

The robbers at around 9.15am entered the branch of a private bank situated at Chawla Market within the limits of Rizvia police station and took the staff hostage on gunpoint.

The police registered a case and started further investigation.
