Ambassadors facing problems after Gilani disqualification

NEW YORK: Pakistani ambassadors to UN, US and Britain among other countries are facing legal and diplomatic problems following the disqualification of Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.

Ambassador to US Sherry Rehman was also holding the status of federal minister which ended after dissolution of the parliament.

Various questions are being raised regarding job and post of the ambassadors after the ineligibility of Gilani.

Sherry Rehman has said that she was categorically directed to continue her work till the next order. Meanwhile, ambassador to UN Hussain Haroon said that he is tendering resignation and will wait till its approval or receiving further directives.
