Raja Pervaiz Ashraf thanks Altaf Hussain for support

ISLAMABAD: The candidate for the post of prime minister of the PPP and its coalition partners Raja Pervaiz Ashraf spoke to MQM chief Altaf Hussain over the telephone on Friday.

During the conversation Ashraf thanked Hussain for the support extended by the MQM in his securing the PM nomination.

Earlier on Friday during a news conference alongside coalition partners, PPP leader Khurshid Shah had announced that Raja Pervaiz Ashraf had replaced Makhdoom Shahabuddin as the primary candidate for the post of PM.
