Gas closure halts production in Fsd

FAISALABAD: The process of industrial production has come to a halt as a result of two-day gas supply closure for 450 industrial units in Faisalabad region, Geo News reported Saturday.

The stoppage of production has also affected a large number of daily-wagers who earn their livelihood on day-to-day basis.

The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline had issued the schedule for gas load management for the industries operating in Faisalabad region after which the production came to a halt for two days in 450 industrial units this morning.

According to the schedule, gas supply will remain suspended to these industries till 6:00 AM on July 9.
