ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Thursday chaired a high-level meeting at the Aiwan-e-Sadr to review the affairs of state, Geo News reported.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) chief Chaudhry Shujaat, Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, and senior party leaders attended the meeting.

According to sources, current affairs, national, and regional security situation remained the order of the meeting.

The situation after reopening of Ground Lines of Communication (GLOCs) for NATO supplies and future Pakistan-US relations were also hashed out in the meeting, the sources added.
