River Chenab likely to be in high flood

RAWALPINDI: Flood Forecasting Division has predicted that River Chenab will have high flooding at Marala and Khanki Saturday, Geo News reported.

The flood division told that high flooding is expected at Marala from 11 am to 8 pm with a discharge of 170,000 to 220,000 cusecs while 140,000 cusecs of discharge is expected at Khanki from 8 pm to 8 am on Sunday.

It is feared that floodwater can enter the low lying areas of Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Hafizabad and Mandi Bahauddin.
