Rains lashes parts of Balochistan

QUETTA: Heavy rainfalls lashed various parts of Balochistan including Sibi, Naseerabad, Jafferabad and Dera Murad Jamali with the rainwater entering the houses and damaging communication system.

According to the details, 10-foot breach occurred in safety dyke in Sibi.

Meanwhile in Jafferabad, heavy winds with rainfall collapsed various signboards. Power supply in many localities disrupted soon after the rain that also caused water scarcity.

Safety dyke of Sultan Coat has also collapsed due in Sibbi due to which all low lying areas were submerged in rain water.

Police said that affected areas have been evacuated.
