LAHORE: Pakistan Railways is all set to begin service of three special trains for Eid from Thursday, however, the trains will have no air-conditioned compartments.

Meanwhile, the private company Shalimar Train's Director Sakhawat Ali said that the train fair has been reduced by 50 percent for the first two days of Eid.

According to General Manager Railways, Junaid Qureshi, the first Eid train will depart for Karachi from Peshawar from Thursday at 11:00 a:m. The other train will make its trip to Rawalpindi from Karachi on August 17 while the 3rd train will leave from Peshawar to Lahore on August 18.

The passengers planning to take the train to visit their homes on Eid have protested against the absence of air-conditioning in all the three trains.
