Gunmen kill passenger woman in Kharadar

KARACHI: A woman was killed when unidentified armed men opened fire in a passenger bus in Kharadar area of Karachi Saturday morning, Geo News reported.

According to rescue sources, gunmen entered a passenger bus and targeted a woman due to which she died on the spot.

The identity of the victim could not be ascertained till last reports.

It is pertinent to mention that at least 10 people were also killed in fresh spree of violence in Karachi over night.

According to reports, unidentified armed men shot dead three people in North Karachi sector 5-C. The deceased were identified as Faizan, Yehya and Maeed.

Following the killing, armed men opened fire in at Anda Mor sector 10-C in North Karachi, injuring several people. Later, five of them succumbed to injuries.

Earlier at night, two people were also gunned down at Water Pump in the FB area, spreading a wave of panic among local residents. The local markets located on the Sharah-e-Pakistan were shut down.
