Huge cache of arms recovered in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: Security forces raided different areas of Khyber Agency and recovered a huge cache of arms while a man was also arrested, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out search operation in Madokhel area of Landi Kotal and seized arms and ammunition in bulk.

The ammunition was hidden underground and was brought from Afghanistan, ISPR told. One man was also arrested during raids.

The seized weapons include 62,000 various ammunitions, 55 rockets, 43 rifles, 34 Kalashnikovs, 4 anti-tank guns, mortar bombs and other heavy weaponry that were displayed in front of the media in Peshawar.
