Ahmed Mukhtar's brother joins PML-N

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Minister for Water and Power Chaudhry Mukhtar’s brother has joined Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Monday, Geo News reported.

According to the statement issued by PML-N, Chaudhry Ahmed Saeed formally announced about his membership after meeting with the Sharif brothers at Model Town in Lahore.

PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif welcomed Chaudhry Saeed’s joining and said that the party will be strengthened with his inclusion, the statement quoted.

In the meeting, Sharif brothers and Chaudhry Saeed discussed the political situation in District Gujrat.

It is said that Chaudhry Ahmed Saeed can contest against Chaudhry brothers and his brother Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar in the upcoming general elections.
