KARACHI: Six people, including two political activists, were gunned down in separate incidents of firing in Karachi, whereas four tortured corpses were also recovered form parts of metropolis, Geo News reported.

A couple of battered dead bodies of two young men were discovered lying in Maiwa Shah graveyard. Police suspecting the obvious said they were kidnapped and tortured to death. The bodies were shifted to a morgue after the completion of mandatory medicolegalities.

Police also reported the recovery of a dead body from a garbage dump near Guru Mandir.

A corpse, in the later stages of decay, was found lying in an empty plot in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.

According to police two gunmen killed one, Munawar, after they opened fire at a shop in Gulbahar Colony area.

A man was too gunned down in Taiser Town’s area Khuda Ki Basti.

There were reports of a target killing near Katti Pahari area of Pirabad.

Orangi Town No.7 and Chisti Nagar also had their share of violence as gunmen claimed three lives there. The deceased were identified as Noor-ul-Huda and Nehal Akhtar having associations with Muttahida Qaumi Movement. A man was shot and killed near Kali Pahari area of Orangi Town.
