ESHAWAR: Jamat-e-Islami Chief Syed Munawar Hassan Sunday said that parties brought into being in the name of Islam sometimes put everything at stake to make insignificant gains, Geo News reported.

He was addressing a public rally Jalsa Inqelab Swari Bunnir on Sunday.
The rally was held as a protest against the sacrilegious film, growing
price hike and lawlessness in the country.

“Jamat-e-Islami’s was founded only to bring about Islamic system in the country, it has no agenda other than that” said he.

Blasting the ruling regime, he said it was the incompetent incumbent government which let United States of America meddle in the affairs of Pakistan especially in Northern areas.

“US is behind the displacement of millions of Malakand residents”, he alleged.

He also claimed that most of the schools were demolished in Swat during the curfew.

Former speaker Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Assembly Bakht Jehan Khan and district chief of JI Mohamma Hanif also spoke at the occasion.
