KARACHI: Two persons including Jaffaria AlliancePakistan (JAP) leader were targeted and killed in Saddar area of Karachi while three corpses were found from Kareemabad Tuesday morning, Geo News reported.
According to police, unknown attackers riding on a motorbike opened fire on a car near parking plaza in Saddar that killed the passengers who were identified as Agha Aftab Haider Jaffri and Mirza Shahid Ali.
General Secretary JAP Syed Shabbar Raza Zaidi protested the incident and told that Agha Aftab Haider Jaffri was one of the JAP leaders. He said that the government has failed in providing security to its masses.
On the other hand, three bodies with hands and feet tied with a rope were found in gunny bags from Kareemabad under the bridge. The victims were kidnapped and tortured to death.
The security forces also kicked off a search and clearance operation in Pehalwan Goth area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar after getting a tip-off. During the operation, the miscreants exchanged fire with the Rangers that injured two, including a security man and an armed miscreant.
The Rangers have arrested the injured terrorist.
The spokesman of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat also told that the law enforcement agencies have raided Jamia Ashraf-ul-Madaris and protested the action.
