Policeman, 2 attackers killed in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A policeman and two attackers were killed in an exchange of fire between near Shamshato check post in Peshawar Tuesday, Geo News reported.

According to police, two parties were having a clash and exchange of fire in the vicinity of Armar police station near Shamshato check post when the police intervened.

As a result of firing, a policeman named Asmatullah was martyred while two gunmen were also killed.

Heavy contingents of police reached the site after which the firing between the parties and police seized.
