Sahiwal: N-League workers beat Geo News cameraman

SAHIWAL: A Geo News cameraman was beaten by a number of Nawaz-league supporters when he tried to capture a scene of a scuffle that took place when they fought each other during Sahiwal NA-161 election, Geo News reported.

The fight sparked following a verbal argument as the party supporters shouted and chanted slogans for point scoring. The argument changed into overall fight with rivals targeting each other with fists and kicks.

Geo News cameraman was subjected to torture after he tried to capture the scene of the fight outside the residence of N-league candidate Zahid Iqbal.Police became silent spectator and took no action against the culprits.
