Firing in different areas claims 8 lives in Karachi

KARACHI: Eight persons were gunned down in different areas across the metropolis Monday, Geo News reported.

According to sources, unidentified gunmen killed three persons in Orangi Town, Korangi and Punjab Chowrangi respectively.

In Berzeta Lines, killing of a political activist, Nawazish Ali, late night sparked violence in the locality, leading to heavy exchange of fire and arson attacks.

Moreover, unidentified men opened fire on a rickshaw in Ayub Goth area of New Karachi that killed a man, identified as Shaukat, and three women inside the rickshaw.

Their bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
