ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday admitted a plea filed by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, seeking review of apex court orders with regard to delimitations in Karachi, Geo News reported.
A five-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry admitted the plea for hearing,
Speaking to media outside the court MQM counsel, Barrister Farrogh Nasim said that though the party had no objection over court orders, it only challenged its implementation as according to law delimitations could not be carried out before census.
He said the honourable court itself had ruled in its October 6 2012 verdict that the process should be carried out as per law.
