Karachi targeted killings on decline: Qaim Ali Shah

SUKKUR: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday claimed that targeted killings in Karachi were on decline, Geo News reported.

Talking to mediamen, he said that the targeted killings would completely be overcome.

Answering a question regarding the door-to-door verification of voters in Karachi, he said the process was being carried out over Supreme Court orders and if anybody had reservations, they should contact the Election Commission of Pakistan.

He termed Pir Pagra’s resentment with the PPP as the beauty of democracy and said that the party would hold talks with the PML-F chief.

The chief minister said the PPP believed in talks and its approach was appreciated by the people during Qadri’s long march.
