KARACHI: Manslaughters remained the order of the night as six people were shot to death within hours in the metropolis, Geo News reported.

Imran, a resident of Federal B Area Block 15, caught the bullets and died on the spot, says a report. His murderers or their motive remains unascertained as yet.

Another man was also reported to have succumbed to gunfire on Jamshaid Road. His identity still eludes the cops.

Kalapull area of the city also had its share of violent crime as Nadeem Naseem, 40, was shot to death there. He was killed for the motive better known to the killers, who themselves are known to no one for now.

Shooters got away with a homicide in Karadar area too. Police have lodged a case. The body made morgue after due medicolegal formalities.

In another incident, a nameless man was gunned down in Grass Mandi.

Another report said gunmen targeted a man in Al-Asif Square, a hotbed of violence on Super Highway, but could do no more than injuring him before fleeing the crime scene. The victim was rushed to hospital immediately after the attack, rescue sources said.

Moreover, an unidentified bullet-riddled body was also found thrown in a Sharafi Goth graveyard.

Police have started investigation into the murders.
