Ex-Ogra chief Tauqir Sadiq’s passports cancelled
ISLAMABAD: The interior ministry has cancelled two passports possessed by former chairman of Oil and Gas regulatory Authority (OGRA) Tauqir Sadiq, Geo News reported Monday.

According to sources, the interior ministry has cancelled Sadiq’s two passports on the request of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). It was also learnt that a team of NAB officials is currently in Abu Dhabi to take him into custody and bring back to Pakistan, and currently legal procedures are underway to achieve the purpose.

Sources also told that the Interpol has restricted Tauqir Sadiq to Abu Dhabi and as soon as the procedures will be finalized, the main accused in the mega Rs80 billion scam will be brought back to Pakistan.
