LAHORE: The power shortfall has climbed to 4500 megawatt, causing eight to 10 hours load shedding in major cities of Punjab including Lahore, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to Ministry of Water and Power, the present supply of electricity stood at 9000 megawatt while demand had surged to 13600 megawatt, resulting in 8 to 10-hour power outages in Lahore and other cities.
