No hindrance in voter verification: CEC

KARACHI: Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ebrahim has said that there was no hindrance in the process of voters’ verification being carried out in Karachi.

The CEC who visited several areas of the city and interacted with the citizens, told media that there was no obstruction in the process despite the law and order problem. He said political parties had their own agenda and priorities.

He said that there was awareness amongst the people that the vote registration and its verification were in their own favour.
