Rajab Ali, booked in a kidnapping for ransom case by Airport Police in 2011, was being tried in the ATC.
The accused fled by scaling the wall of the ATC after cutting handcuffs in the presence of police personnel.
There were no CCTV cameras installed in the court premises while security arrangements were also flawed.
