ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed the Election Commission Sindh to submit a statement regarding door-to-door verification of voter list in Karachi.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the petitions relating electoral reforms.

During the hearing, the chief justice remarked that complains are being received regarding non-implementation of the Supreme Court's verdict.

The SC sought details of the verification of voter lists that when did the process began and how many military personnel took part in the process.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan's lawyer Hamid Khan said that door-to-door verification of voters list has not yet been started.
