Four gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: Four persons including a father and his son besides two brothers were killed in targeted firings in different parts of the city here, Geo News reported on Sunday.

Police said that armed persons gunned down two brothers—the watchmen of two different apartments near Shoe Market in Garden area, who were identified as Gul Afroze and Aqeel Zar hailing from Khyber Pukhtunkhaw. Both the victims were shot in the head from a close distance causing instant death. The bodies have been shifted to the Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

While a father and his son were wounded by some unknown persons’ firing at Rais Amrohvi Society in Orangi Town, who were rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where they succumbed to the injuries. Police said that the victims belonged to a political party.
