KARACHI: The medical report pertaining to age verification of key accused in Shahzeb murder case, Shahrukh Jatoi, will be presented in the court today (Monday), Geo News reported.

Seven-member medical board, constituted to ascertain Shahrukh Jatoi’s age, has declared that he is over 19 years of age.

According to birth and academic certificates Jatoi was born on 27th November 1993, accordingly, his age is 19 years.

It is pertinent to mention here that the new medical board was formed after the court rejected a report prepared by a police surgeon, who had concluded that Shahrukh appeared to be a minor.

The new medical board, consisting of radiologists, forensic experts and a dentist, took X-rays of bones and teeth of Shahrukh to determine his actual age.

Shahrukh Jatoi, along with three other nominated accused Nawab Siraj Ali Talpur, Nawab Sajjad Ali Talpur and their employee Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, has been accused of killing Shahzeb Khan after a brawl in DHA Phase V on December 25.
