Two gunned down, one injured in Karachi

KARACHI: Two people were gunned down while one more sustained injuries in various incidents of firing here on Friday, Geo News reported.

According to police, a man was shot dead in Koranigi unit 5 area of the metropolis and his body was shifted to hospital for medico legal formalities. Another person sustained bullet wounds while resisting a robbery in SITE area. He breathed his last in hospital.

In another incident of firing, Maqsood Ahmed, pronounced as leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), was critically injured in Khawaja Ajmer Nagri. Maqsood Ahmed is a brother of leader of Jamiat Ulma e Islam JUI and UC Nazim Hafiz Ahmed Ali.
