GUJRAT: Deputy Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has claimed that his party's joining of the incumbent government helped it complete its five-year term.

"We joined the government to save it from black-mailing," Pervaiz Elahi said while addressing 'corner meeting' here on Saturday.

He said the constituency of NA-105 is his ancestral seat and that he himself would contest election from there.

Elahi said his party would get into a seat-adjustment deal with Pakistan People's Party (PPP) in the upcoming elections. But, there would no seat-adjustment over NA-105 constituency, he added.
