FC seizes huge cache of weapons, explosives in Dasht, arrests eight

MASTUNG: Frontier Crops seizing a huge cache of weapons and explosives during a targeted operation and arrested eight accused in Dasht area of Mastung district on Friday night.

Addressing a press conference at FC Headquarter, FC Ghazaband Scouts’ Commandant Col Maqbool said that on a tip off from the intelligence agencies a place in Dasht area of district Mustung was raided and searched resulting in the seizure of 15 RPG rockets, 17 rockets of 107 mm, 4 LMG, 14 SMG, 50,000 bullets, 120 kilograms of explosives, 1,000 detonator and a satellite phone.

Col. Maqbool Shah said that FC also arrested eight accused from miscreants’ den. The recovered arms were to be used in any major attack in Quetta, he added.
