LAHORE: Pakistan Telecommunication has announced the cellular services around Minar-e-Pakistan will be suspended during Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf’s public rally, Geo News reported.

According to a handout issued here, the PTA said apart from mobile services V-Phone (wireless) would also not be available to the consumers.

On the other hand PTI has completed preparations for another public meeting to be held on Saturday at Minar-e-Pakistan.

According to PTI sources, one hundred thousand chairs have been set in the lawns, while a huge stage under the shadow of Minar-e-Pakistan has also been put together for the central leadership.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan, along with other central and provincial office-bearers of the party, will address the gathering.

PTI's provincial leadership considers the March 23 show a ‘tsunami plus’.

People from all cross-sections of life and PTI workers are expected to attend the gathering. A huge procession will proceed to Minar-e-Pakistan through the metro bus service.

More than 1500 police and youths of subsidiary organizations of the PTI will provide security to the gathering.
