Summary sent to PM for sacking SBP Deputy Governor

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Finance has sent a summary to Caretaker Prime Minister retired Justice Mir Hazar Khan Khoso, for sacking Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Ashraf Mahmood, Geo News reported.

The summary was sent after the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ordered to remove Deputy Governor SBP. He was appointed after the commission had imposed ban on appointments.

Sources said Ashraf Mahmood would be removed after the prime minister approved summary.
