PESHAWAR: Awami National Party Chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan and the interim government were part of a conspiracy against his party.
Speaking to Geo News, he said that security of Awami National Party leaders was withdrawn as part of a conspiracy, adding that the ECP and the caretaker government were part of it.
A suicide bomber on Tuesday struck an ANP rally, apparently targeting Ghulam Ahmed Bilour and Haroon Bilour, killing at least 16 people and injuring many others in Peshawar.
The proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
