KARACHI: The Electronics Market Association has announced to keep the electronics markets closed today following the firing incident Thursday night when two traders were injured in Saddar area, Geo News reported.

According to the announcement, the traders have decided to keep the markets shut keeping in view the current law and order situation and attack on two traders last night.

On Thursday night, unknown armed men opened fire on two traders in Saddar area who were wounded and shifted to Civil Hospital.

Police told that the injured traders were identified as Muhammad Shoaib, 50 and Shahrukh, 25.

Further investigations into the incident are underway while initial report has been submitted in Predi police station, police told.
