RAWALPINDI: In the wake of his long-awaited victory in NA-55, Awami Muslim League (AML) leader, Shaikh Rahseed said that he proved his rivals wrong who had been claiming that his politics had come to an end, Geo News reported.
“It is for their kind information that my politics has actually started now, said he addressing his jubilant supporters at his residence known as Lal Haveli.
Rasheed vowed that he along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan would change the fate of the people.
He said that he would even serve those who didn’t vote for him, adding his doors would always remain opened for his constituents for 18 hours a day.
A grateful AML leader also said that the he would neither harbour any hard feelings for those who left no opportunity of slinging mud at his go to waste.
“I wholeheartedly forgive those of my critics who have been slurring me all the time”, said he.
He also claimed that he would purge his constituency of drugs and gambling within a month after the formation of government.
