20 killed in twin blasts in Malakand mosques

MALAKAND: At least 20 people were killed and dozens other injured when two blasts hit as many mosques in Malakand before the Friday prayers, Geo News reported.

According to Levies sources, twin blasts hit mosques in Bazdara Bala area of Malakand Agency where 20 persons were killed and 50 others wounded.

The bodies and injured were shifted to the hospital where many of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

Security forces cordoned off the area and started investigation.
