NA-250 re-polling: DRO writes letter for deployment of troops

KARACHI: The District Returning Officer (DRO) South Shahid Shafiq on Friday said that re-polling at 43 polling stations of National Assembly constituency NA-250 would be conducted on May 19 and law enforcers will take the charge of polling stations tonight, Geo News reported.

Speaking to Geo News, DRO South Shahid Shafiq said that the preparation regarding deployment of polling staff and presiding officers at 43 polling stations of NA-250 has been finalized.

He further told that a letter has been sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for deployment of rangers and army troops on polling stations to ensure peaceful, free and fair poll process.
