President Zardari greets Nawaz Sharif over election victory

LAHORE: The President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on Monday congratulated the prime minister in waiting and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif over latter’s big win in the general elections, Geo News reported.

According to sources, President Zardari telephoned Nawaz Sharif and felicitated Nawaz Sharif on elections victory.

In light mood, Nawaz asked the President, ‘what took you so long to congratulate me’ and then he thanked Zardari for his gesture.
