KARACHI: Slamming Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah, Member of MQM Coordination Committee, Haider Abbas Rizvi Wednesday said that after getting elected, CM Sindh visited terrorists’ safe haven’ (Lyari) instead of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum, Geo News reported.
“CM Sindh, who should have gone to founder of Pakistan’s last resting place to pay homage to founder of Pakistan, but he chose to hang out with the proclaimed offenders in Lyari”, said he addressing a press conference here.
Going forward, Rizvi accused the outlawed Peoples Aman Committee (PAC), led by Uzair Jan Baloch, of killing four party sympathizers.
“Before murdering them in the cold blood, the PAC outlaws first made sure the victims were MQM sympathizers, which makes it a targeted killing”, Rizvi claimed.
Rizvi alleged that Sohail Dada group of PAC was behind the murders of MQM sympathizers.
He further said that MQM’s eight workers were still missing and no security agency had taken credit for their arrest, adding that PAC was being used for the ‘ethnic cleansing’ of MQM activists/sympathizers.
Appealing to the people of Sindh to observe a peaceful day of mourning, he said that Kachchi and Kathyawari communities were being targeted only for supporting MQM.
Rizvi urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take notice of MQM workers’ kidnapping/killing. He also appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Chaudhary to take suo moto notice of these incidents.
MQM leader also demanded of the authorities to crack down on PAC terrorists and compensate for the loss of lives of party sympathizers.
