US military chief in Afghanistan calls on COAS Gen Raheel Sharif

RAWALPINDI: General John F. Campbell, Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces in Afghanistan called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ) here today.

According to a press statement by the ISPR, matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.

The two top military leaders also discussed regional security situation with particular reference to the reconciliation process in Afghanistan, said the ISPR.
