NOWSHERA: Female commandoes inducted in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police force had a training session here on Wednesday.

During the session, the 35 female commandoes and 150 male recruits demonstrated combat training after being in the programme for two months.

The first female elite force which will tackle militancy in the province is being trained to use the latest weapons.

The female commandoes used rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and grenade guns int the training session. They also showed the training received to tackle terrorists in case of an attack.



Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak were on hand during the training exercise.
