Will fight against media trial in courts: Dr. Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement senior leader and member of National Assembly Dr. Farooq Sattar Sunday said that they would fight against media trial of Altaf Hussain and MQM in the courts in and outside the Britain, Geo News reported.

Talking to newsmen outside British Consulate office here, Dr. Sattar said that MQM would not accept media trial against their leader Altaf Hussain and the party.

Dr Farooq Sattar said MQM wanted an earlier arrest of killers of slain leader Imran Farooq’s, however, steps of metropolitan police provided an opportunity to launch propaganda against Altaf.

Dr. Farooq further said that his party had submitted a memorandum in British consulate to express their concerns, adding that Altaf Hussain is beloved of million of people.
