Hazara Town blast: Death toll rises to 31

QUETTA: Death toll of Hazara Town suicide blast has risen to 31 after another injured woman succumbed to her injuries at hospital.

Official sources confirmed on Wednesday that the doctors made hectic efforts to save her life but due to serious condition, she could not survive.

The victim, identified as Shazia Bibi, was among the 58 injured who were brought to hospital after they sustained serious injuries in a blast when a suicide bomber detonated himself at the barrier outside Imambargah Ali Ibn Abu Talib in Ali Abad area of Hazara Town area on June 30.

The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs.

She was laid to rest at her native graveyard.
